The Price of Advocacy
These letters are only the tip of the iceberg of what I was put through. So many lies have been instigated by the defamation, and together, both have shattered more than my reputation. They broke something inside me. There have been times, lasting months, I cried endlessly. I couldn't eat. I couldn’t sleep. At times, I didn’t want to exist. The pain of being defamed, of being cast as a villain for simply trying to help my son - it nearly destroyed me.

People often say time heals, however, lies, left unchallenged, linger. I need to defend myself. The truth has to be told. Going public is a demand for accountability.

You’ll notice the letters are dated February 2025.
The reason for the delay in releasing them
is that it was essential to Churchill
that this information be interpreted in ASL,
and creating the video took several months.

This is a screenshot taken from the NLAD website where they had to post the apology letter as per settlement agreement.

Sadly, NLAD removed the post containing their apology letter after one short month. It would be nice for them to repost it to show they are in fact genuine about their apology.
